This website, in cooperation with the Office of Management and Budget's Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, as well as the General Services Administration, has been established to assist users who want to find information about government regulation. Information is gathered and published on Federal regulations through the semiannual Unified Agenda of Federal Regulatory and Deregulatory Actions and the annual Regulatory Plan, both required by Executive Order 12866, "Regulatory Planning and Review."

Regulatory Information Service Center (RISC)
Created in June, 1981, this center facilitates the development of, and access to, information about federal regulatory and deregulatory activities. Its principal publications are the Unified Agenda and The Regulatory Plan. The Center gathers and publishes information on federal regulations and their effects on society. This information is available to the president, Congress, agency officials, and the general public to help them better understand and manage the regulatory process.
