Renewing Items

 

  1. On the upper right hand corner, click the Renew/Search Only link.
  2. Enter the 14-digit code on the back of your library card (all the numbers, no spaces).  If you don't know your PIN #, try leaving it blank or using your birth year. If you are unsuccessful, call your local Branch Location or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . We will reset your PIN.
  3. Click List Charged Items.
  4. Click Renew All or Renew Selected Items and click the items you want to renew.
  5. Click Renew Selected Items.
  6. Click Ok after items are renewed successfully.



REMINDER

(During the renewal period)

If you renew past midnight, it is counted as 
the next day. Items can only be renewed  
three times online (or by telephone).

Items will not renew if:

  • They exceed the library’s renewal limit.
  • They are needed at another library.
  • They are on hold for other patrons.
  • They are requested as Interlibrary Loans.
  • Library privilege has expired.



Placing Holds

 


Please note: **There is a limit of 30 item requests for each patron.**

  1. On the upper right hand corner, search for your item. 
  2. Select your pickup library from the drop-down menu and click the Search button.
  3. Click the Place Hold link.
  4. Type in your 14-digit library card number (without spaces) and click Place Hold
  5. Click Ok after placing hold successfully. 
  6. In the "PIN" field, type your PIN number if you have one.
 
If you don't know your PIN, try leaving it blank or using your birth year. To have your PIN reset, please e-mail Headquarters Circulation at 
This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .   When your PIN is reset, it will be blank. You can leave it blank or create a new one for added security.



    Creating a New PIN Number       

  1. Click the My Account link.
  2. Go to User PIN Change.
  3. Type your 14-digit library card number (without spaces).
  4. Type your PIN number (if you had it reset, leave it blank).
  5. Enter new PIN number.
  6. Re-enter new PIN number.
  7. Click Change PIN.
  8. Click Ok after getting confirmation.


  1. From the Library Catalog link, go to Renew Online – go directly link.
  2. Enter the 14-digit library card number from the back of your library card (without spaces).  You may enter your PIN number if one is assigned to your account.  If you don’t know your PIN number, type in your birth year; otherwise, leave it blank. 
  3. Click List Charged Items.
  4. Click Renew Selected Items to renew some of the items by clicking on check box next to each or click Renew All Items to renew multiple items at the same time.
Click on Ok once your items are renewed successfully.  If you renew items after midnight (from the due date), they are considered OVERDUE.
